Paul Watson
Partner, Fortix Capital
Paul Watson has been a principal investor in UK real estate for over fifty years. His career spans residential, commercial and complex special situation transactions across the Midlands and beyond, with a particular expertise in distressed assets, administrator sales and time-critical acquisitions.
Paul has built Watson’s Property into a highly regarded investment and asset management business with a reputation for moving decisively, delivering on commitments and finding value where others see difficulty. At Fortix Capital, Paul brings the deal instinct, market knowledge and relationships that only five decades of active principal experience can create.
Alex Watson
Partner, Fortix Capital
Alex Watson has spent fifteen years working across advisory and principal roles in UK real estate, working closely alongside Paul to build and manage Watson’s Property’s portfolio and deal pipeline.
His experience spans the full transaction lifecycle, from sourcing and structuring through to acquisition, asset management and disposal. Alex brings a rigorous, commercially focused approach to every opportunity and plays a central role in Fortix Capital’s day-to-day investment activity and counterparty relationships.
James Ackrill

James Ackrill spent twenty years building Centrick into the UK’s largest independent property management firm, developing an operational platform and a depth of sector knowledge that is genuinely rare in the investment market. His understanding of how real estate assets perform in practice, across residential, commercial and mixed-use portfolios, informs every investment decision Fortix Capital makes.
James brings patient capital, creative deal structuring and the kind of long-term perspective that comes from building a market-leading business from the ground up.

Carina Ackrill co-founded and built Centrick alongside James over two decades, playing a central role in establishing it as the UK’s largest independent property management business. Her expertise spans operations, portfolio management and the strategic development of real estate businesses at scale.
Carina brings to Fortix Capital an exceptional understanding of what it takes to manage and grow a property portfolio with rigour and purpose, ensuring that every asset we acquire is positioned to perform over the long term.
